746 faj). fajszám tekintetében munka hazai faunakutatás élvonalába tartozik. lista 16 védett fajjal bővült, melyek következők: Hemaris tityus, Aglia tau, Boloria euphrosyne, Euphydryas maturna, Neptis sappho, Nymphalis xanthomelas, Archiearis notha, parthenias, Drymonia velitaris, Ocnogyna parasita, Cucullia chamomillae, Diachrysia zosimi, Euchalcia variabilis, Euxoa vitta, Rileyiana fovea, Scotochrosta pulla.

Spruce Budworm (Lepidoptera: Tortricidae) Oral Secretions II: Chemistry.
As sessile organisms, plants have evolved different methods to defend against attacks and have adapted their defense measures to discriminate between mechanical damage and herbivory by insects. One of the ways that plant defenses are triggered is via elicitors from insect oral secretions (OS). In this study, we investigated the ability of second-instar (L2) spruce budworm [SBW; Choristoneura fu...

متن کاملA Molecular View of Autophagy in Lepidoptera
Metamorphosis represents a critical phase in the development of holometabolous insects, during which the larval body is completely reorganized: in fact, most of the larval organs undergo remodeling or completely degenerate before the final structure of the adult insect is rebuilt. In the past, increasing evidence emerged concerning the intervention of autophagy and apoptosis in the cell death p...
متن کاملIdentification of Diatraea spp. (Lepidoptera: Crambidae) based on cytochrome oxidase II
Diatraea spp. (Lepidoptera: Crambidae) are a group of insects that are agriculture pests in many economically relevant crops such as sugarcane, sorghum, corn and rice. Recognized species for this genus respond differentially to natural enemies used in their biological control, emphasizing the importance of species in a regional approach. Currently, identification is based on the male genitalia....
متن کاملCaterpillars and moths: Part II. Dermatologic manifestations of encounters with Lepidoptera.
Caterpillars and moths (order Lepidoptera) are uncommonly recognized causes of adverse cutaneous reactions, such as localized stings, papular dermatitis, and urticarial wheals. These reactions are typically mild and self-limited; however, in South America, the sting of Lonomia caterpillars can cause a potentially fatal hemorrhagic diathesis related to massive fibrinolysis. In addition, ocular i...
